Long John Skating Party

Skate through the rhythm with DJ Fishguy’s beats, dazzled by Serpentine Studios’ performances, all while sipping on hot chocolate; downtown Truro’s vibrant atmosphere offers the perfect blend of winter joy and shopping delight

Skate Loan Program – Colchester East Hants Public Library

Pickup / Return (2 Day Loan)

Borrow skates with your library card on the following days:

Tuesdays: 5:00pm – 7:30pm

Wednesdays: 5:00pm – 7:30pm

Fridays: 1:00pm – 4:30pm

Saturdays: 10:00am – 2:00pm

Johnny’s Frosty Fat Fest

Johnny’s Frosty Fat Fest, originally scheduled for Sunday, February 16th has been postponed and moved to Sunday, February 23rd due to the impeding weather.

 

Johnny’s Frosty Fat Fest is coming to SEEK, offering a fun, free day for everyone, whether or not you have a fat bike. Here’s what’s in store:

  • Fat bike demos
  • Group rides at Railyard Victoria Park (bike and helmet required; rentals available from Hub Cycle Truro and Bike Monkey)
  • Family-friendly scavenger hunt (on foot)
  • Beavertails treats
  • Aprés party with Coldstream Clear
  • Hot chili lunch
  • Campfires with s’mores
  • Relay bike race (for registered teams)

It’s an action-packed day to enjoy nature and the outdoors with family and friends. Attendance is free, with tickets only required for the relay race.
